Life on 30A is not Perfect
There are people who might disagree with the title of this post -especially if they are involved in marketing the 30A dream. I have lived here with my family since 2014 and gotten to know this area and it’s people very well. Be they full-time locals, part-time locals, occasional locals, and of course the vacationers (who like to act like they are locals!), all of us are here for any number of reasons.
More than a Pretty Beach
Sure, the fairly world-renowned 30A white sugar sand beaches are a draw along with the equally impressive clear emerald waters of the Gulf. There’s the uniqueness of each of the beach communities stretching along this 24 mile stretch. From the Dubai-esque Alys Beach to the remnants of funky beach shacks nestled in Blue Mountain Beach and seriously everything in between. Now 30A it is rightly considered a luxury resort area, and Gulf View home prices attest to that.
